Roll-drop shades use metal battens with a tie-down to keep the shade off the glass and can be secured in a fixed position or rolled up when not in use.

Fixed shades are fixed top and bottom. Battens support the shade above the glass, and when not needed, the shade may be removed.

Sloped track shades use flat screens fitted into a double-slide track mounted on the roof. The shade can be easily removed for cleaning and storage.
