We get both heat and light from the sun. But people with a view know that sometimes we want more of one than the other. Alcoe sunrooms offer glass that can tell the difference. Choose a glass that lets heat in -- or keeps heat out. Alcoe sunrooms offer six types of tempered glass in many configurations, so you can select the exact glazing you need.
- Clear Glazing
Clear glazing lets in maximum heat and light.
- Bronze
- Bronze features 3/16" bronze glazing outside which reduces visible light by nearly half and heat gain by one third over clear glass.
- Solor Cool Reflective Bronze
- Solor Cool Reflective Bronze glazing features 3/16" tinted glass with a reflective coating for 25% better performance than bronze alone.
- Low-E
- Low-E glazing features an inside coating which reflects heat outside and reduces glare. Inside radiant heat stays put in colder climates.
- HeatMirror®
- HeatMirror®features two insulated air spaces separated by clear polyester film for minimum heat gain in summer and heat savings in winter.
- Laminated
- Laminated Glazing features a transparent lamination for maximum safety in case of breakage, while blocking up to 99% of ultraviolet radiation.
